Most family photography sessions take place during golden hour, which is the hour before sunset. This gives the most flattering light, though timing may vary depending on your location, season, and family's schedule.
Q: What if my kids don't cooperate?
No worries. Children are naturally curious, energetic, and unpredictable, and that's completely okay. My goal is to create a relaxed experience that allows genuine moments and personalities to shine through.

Absolutely! Whether you're looking for family photo locations in St. Louis, St. Charles County, or somewhere meaningful to your family, I'm happy to provide recommendations and planning assistance.
Q: Can we bring our dog?
Of course! Pets are always welcome when permitted by the location and often make family photos even more meaningful.
Q: What happens if it rains?
If rain or severe weather is expected, we'll discuss the forecast together and decide whether to move forward, adjust plans, or reschedule.
Q: What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens! If you need to reschedule, simply reach out as soon as possible, and we'll find a new date based on availability and the terms of your contract.
Q: How do we get our photos?
Photos are delivered through a private online gallery where you can download both high-resolution and web-sized images. You'll also have access to a professional print shop for ordering prints, albums, wall art, and other keepsakes.
Q: When will we receive our photos?
You'll receive sneak peeks within 24 to 48 hours after your session. Full galleries are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks.
Q: How do we book?
Simply fill out the contact form on my website, and I'll be in touch with availability and next steps. A signed contract and retainer officially reserve your date.
Q: Can we change outfits?
Absolutely! You're more than welcome to bring as many outfits as you'd like, though outfit changes will take place during your scheduled session time.
